In reply to jonathon t's post on January 22, I would back up any data from outside of Windows if necessary and do a clean install with your XP Home disc then, using its Product Key. You'll have to get drivers for the Asus' hardware, of course. I would take the time to test the hardware, at least the RAM and hard drive, before doing the clean install. Here's my deal.. Im' happy.. Hey Hi.. Its working in Windows system, how can we solve the same issue in Mac systems? My issue is slightly different. The install window is invisible actually transparent , except for a border around it. I can see the window rendered properly in the Thumbnail on the Taskbar. I had this, but my problem was although the application was open somewhere on my screen, I had tried all the options in here.

Restore was greyed out so I knew the app was maximized but just invisible to me. When i selected the minimize option, the restore options was available — but again nothing showed. This was a user session for one app on a remote desktop server.
